ISLR Advisory Committee Application Process

To apply for the ISLR Advisory Committee, send the following materials to ISLR:

A letter of interest and a resume which include the following information:
- ODE License Associate Interpreter for the Hearing Impaired (license number)
- Evidence of three or more years as a pre-K to 12 educational interpreter, including place of employment, grade level(s) and years worked
- Evidence of involvement in community and/or professional organizations, clubs, activities
- Supervisor’s name and address (we will send a letter informing your supervisor if you are selected)
A letter of reference from a professional colleague, such as a teacher, principal, supervisor, interpreter

Consideration will be given to diversity of representation in areas such as age of students served, urban and rural areas, school systems with current members, and gender.
