The Infant Room at the ACC enrolls children from 6 weeks of age to between 14-18 months. Care for our youngest children revolves around a family centered approach. Each child and family is welcomed as individuals, and we take the time needed to talk with parents, grandparents and guardians to ensure each child's needs are met as fits them best. We offer:
  • Access to developmentally appropriate materials and equipment
  • Curriculum based on Ohio Early Childhood Guidelines in the areas of Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Cognition, Language, Self-Help and Social/Emotional Skill
  • Individualized care plan (feeding, changing, rest and play schedules)
  • Separate play and nap areas
  • 3-to-1 child to staff ratio
All staff are certified by the state of Ohio and maintain certification in:
  • Pediatric First Aid
  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
  • Management of Communicable Diseases
  • Recognition of Child Abuse and Neglect
  • Blood Borne Pathogens
  • Medication Administration
